Team Bass Boy (516-792-6452): Team Bass Boy is the newly renovated bait and tackle shop that has opened in the original and sacred tackle shop grounds of the original Skippy’s Bait and Tackle. Team Bass Boy is located on the water in East Rockaway Harbor on Front Street and is on the way to the Bay Park Boat Launch Ramp and the Bay Park bulkheads for crabs, fluke, flounder and striped bass. Owner John Gleason with son Keith along with a friendly and courteous staff are now open 5:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. seven (7) days per week and will expand into longer hours as the season progresses. John said, “Our goal is to run this new establishment with the same respect, family values, support and atmosphere that made the original Skip Gerdes and Skippy’s the place to come for information and your tackle and bait needs.” Team Bass Boy has this new attitude and dedicated to this mandate. They are always there with no closing or no guessing whether they will be open or not. They are there when the hours say they are open.

Team bass Boy is easy to get to and will have all your fishing and crabbing supplies with custom traps, “overnighters” along with all the surf, inshore and offshore bait and tackle you’ll need to fish the south shore of Long Island out of either Jones or Deb’s Inlets! Look for Team Bass Boy to carry The Fishing Line’s assortment of wooden Surf Lures. Kings Park
Terminal Tackle (631-269-6005)Go To Terminal Tackle:
Terminal Tackle Co. opened its "doors" in 1985 with a nine page catalog and the idea they could fill a void in the fishing tackle marketplace. For the past seventeen years they've tried to offer hard-to-get items that nobody else carries. Their catalog has grown to 60 pages over the years. Our catalog contains a very extensive selection of hooks, perhaps the best in the world and an enormous variety of lure and rig making components including molds and tying materials. If you want no-nonsense tackle at sensible prices, we think you’ll find our catalog to your liking. You can order by phone, fax, e-mail, or snail mail, or on-line at www.terminaltackleco.com
