NORTH SHORE
Huntington:
Capt. James Joseph III (631-424-1253)  : Look for their new Charter boat
this year as well, The James Joseph III...a 38 foot Youngs Brother boat with a 400
horsepower Cat engine that cruises at 20 knots! She will be all rigged and ready to go
round the clock chunking for stripers as soon as they show up in the western Sound in
April. The Capt. James is located at the end of Rte. 110 in Huntington, 100 feet past

West:
Riptide III (718-885-0236) :
The
Riptide III is a 90 foot long and 24 foot wide fishing
vessel powered with three (3) Mann diesels that produce 2,400 horsepower.

is a fishing machine. We hold 106 passengers for fishing and 149 for
sunset and moonlight charter cruises.
The
Riptide III is safe and
comfortable with a full kitchen and bar and a DJ on our cruises.
Master Captain Carl Madsen and crew has been running the
Riptide III
since 1985. The Jorgensen/Madsen families have been fishing western Long
Island Sound over four (4) generations! We have plenty of free & safe
parking at our pier

Island Princess (631-587-6024)  : The Island Princess
had a new boat just a few years back and she is as
beautiful as ever.In the spring they fish
half days for flounder, fluke in summer with evening bay trips for weakfish
and bluefish from 6 to 10 p.m. during spring and summer or blackfish and sea
bass in the fall with night trips all summer and fall
from 6 to 11 p.m. Sailing from the first walkway on the right at Captree State Park,
the Island Princess
is a comfortable 65-foot F/V, equipped with the latest in safety and fish finding
equipment. There is an enclosed and heated lounge with clean separate men's and ladies
accommodations. There's also snack's and hot and cold beverages available. Friendly,
helpful and experienced crew. They supply free bait & tackle, but
don’t worry, the NEW Island Princess will continue their old tradition of courtesy,

Manzari reports their new vessel, the Bay Princess is located in the slip
adjacent to the

Princess
at Captree's right side of the dock and
specializes in private charters up to
