Catalina Line Counter CT30D: Inshore and offshore saltwater, anglers looking for an accurate, durable line-counter reel perfect for the charter captains, these reels are what you need. The Catalina CT30D allows you to precision point your offering on the troll using mono or wire line. Get those plus to precise depths to match where those trophy bass and weakfish are located on your fish finder. Okuma has introduced this new addition to our flagship series of star- drag reels. These new Catalina’s, along with our current in-line reels, will feature our new Speed Lock Gear System or “SLG”, which allows you to engage your reel from free spool to hook set at speeds over 50 mph. Our Catalina series will also have our Self-Lubricating Gear System. This stainless steel gear has an oil- impregnated bushing in the center of it that releases oil to the moving parts when they become heated. This process cools the parts and keeps the reel running smoothly. In addition, you will find our dual anti-reverse system for quiet retrieves and our newly-designed ergonomic aluminum handle and handle knob for comfort. These machined, aluminum-framed reels are built to offer anglers uncompromising quality, value and long- lasting performance. Click on the reel for the full screen-full view of this reel.

Okuma New Aluminum SALINA Spinning Reel: Okuma has just reinvented durability in saltwater spinning tackle. The new aluminum Salina are built using our Alumilite construction or “ALC” which allows these lightweight reels to withstand tremendous amounts of pressure and torque. To this we have added our patented Elliptical Oscillation system or “EOS”. The “EOS” design uses elliptical shaped gears to provide exceptional line lay and stability which makes this reel very durable. The Salina uses ten of our High Performance bearings or “HPB”. These bearings are stainless steel and double shielded to insure smooth operation and provide maximum corrosion resistance that will outlast any traditional-style bearing. Okuma’s new Salina also utilizes our machined aluminum handle and our legendary Dual Forced Drag System for complete confidence. All of these features and more are now encompassed within the all new Okuma Blade Body Design. This feature narrows the reel’s frame, reducing the weight and overall mass of the reel, giving it a much lighter and compact design with a strikingly sharp appearance.
