Energy & Money Saving Tips Videos

With the onset of summer and the need for energy awareness at an all-time high, the Long Island Power Authority (LIPA) has asked LIPA's Director of Media Relations Michael Coleman Lowndes to deliver through "The Fishing Line," 12 segments filmed on local beaches and waterfronts asking residents to conserve energy and offer tips on how they can assist in saving energy and money at the same time. Topics of the LIPA segments will include choosing the right size unit for the space you're trying to cool, choosing an EnergyStar rated unit, the LIPA Edge Program, LIPA's Osprey Program, and LIPA's 2002 Cool Cash Rebate. These are practical, useful suggestions that can help Long Island get through the summer with little concerns about energy consumption while putting a few dollars back in their pockets.
