NY Bight
April Lynn Charters (718 629 3615):
Captained by FishNYC founder Capt. Rob Jackson, Our charter boat “April Lynn” is a 30 foot, 2004 Seaswirl Striper series vessel. Powered with a pair of 2007, 250 hp E-Tech engines, she is lluxuriously appointed and immaculately maintained to maximize your safety, comfort, entertainment, and fishing success. April Lynn is a serious fishing machine. The stable, dry ride and speed of April Lynn make it possible to cover more area, and inside the cabin of April Lynn boasts all the comforts of home; a full galley with microwave oven, a full V berth that coverts to a dinning area.

We believe comfort is the key ingredient to a successful time on the water. Early spring flounder seekers love the heat inside the enclosed pilot house as much as late fall bottom fish anglers. What can you say about air-conditioning out on the ocean after an hour of jigging up bluefish during the dog days of summer, except…AAHHH!! Sirius satellite radio, textured non-skid decks and high gunwales with padding make the cockpit comfortable, safe, and very fishable. A few of our fishing packages include dawn & dusk inshore trips for trophy striped bass and weakfish, Offshore sport fishing charters that target tuna, and shark or the Mixed Bag trips targeting multiple species in a single charter.

Offshore sport anglers appreciate the 25 foot top riggers, tournament series electric down riggers, and custom trolling rods. Bassmen rely on the 40 gallon live well for the freshest bunker. Two in-deck insulated fish boxes and a fold away seat keep the cockpit clear and safe. Professionally upgraded and maintained electronics help keep her technologic edge. Hand tied rigs and custom wrapped Lamiglas rods help give you the edge.

Some of our most productive areas Raritan Bay, Jamaica Bay, Rockaway Inlet (the jetty), Romer Shoals, Ambrose, 17 Fathoms, The Mud Buoy, The Fisherman Buoy, Shrewsbury Rocks, Tin Can Grounds, Southern Reef, Jersey Shore rock piles, Monster Ledge, Glory Hole, Mud Hole, The Farms, Canyons and others. We fish for all species in season! Fishing packages include dawn & dusk inshore trips for trophy striped bass and weakfish during the spring and fall run. Offshore sport fishing charters target tuna, and shark and our signature “mixed bag” trip, targets multiple species in a single day of fishing. Please contact us to create a custom fishing charter for your party. Our website offers an interactive calendar so you can book charters on-line anytime! The action is just minutes away!
