Show #1
Fishing To Fight Cancer, Jimmy V Show Part 1
: This 2006 season premiere lives up to the expectations of a season premier all the way. It has action and more importantly...a message. A message of hope and the mantra of “Don't Give Up, don't ever give up.” This was the famous line spoken by the late Jimmy Valvano on ESPN at the awards dinner. If you are sports fan, you know where you were when you first heard this. On this show I speak with Jimmy's brother Nick, who is the Exec. Director of the Jimmy V Foundation and who also happens to be my high school accounting teacher. Then we fish with Blaine Applegate of Philadelphia and his friends the Ford family who came to NY to fish with Rich Johnson after another so called pro could not fulfill his duties towards a trip Blaine won in an auction at a Jimmy V fundraiser in Philly. We took Blaine and the Ford family to Orient Point to fish with Capt. Dave Lawrence of the Celtic Horizon charter boat for hot October fall bass and big bluefish action jigging in the Gut and the Race. This is a terrific show to watch with the kids and family with vintage footage provided by ESPN of this special night. We'll have clips and videos available soon.

Show #3
Trophy Tog with Hermit Crabs
: This episode we go looking for blackfish, not 14 inch keepers mind you, but trophy blackfish in Long Island Sound. We sailed with Capt. John Richey II on his new charter boat out of the Nissiquogue River on Long Island's north shore and hit the Smithtown Reef and points west. We had a bucket of hermit crabs and were specifically looking for trophy blackfish over 10 pounds in late November just days before Thanksgiving. We used single hook rigs and fished 45 foot of water and found some great beauties and came very close with several fish 8 to 9.5 pounds! Capt. John gave us some great info on fishing LI Sound for tog and of course the show would not be complete without a trip to his father’s store. Terminal Tackle in Kings Pak, Long Island. We cover all the in’s and out’s of togging the fall season showed he tackle and rigs we used including the excellent Okuma line of reels. We'll have clips and videos available soon.
